  • What is a Roaster Chicken?
    A roaster chicken is about 7 to 8 weeks old and weighs between 7 to 10 pounds. The roaster yields more meat per pound than a fryer chicken and is usually roasted whole, but it can also be cut up and prepared in a variety of different ways
  • How do I get my chickens?
    You just have to email, text or call us and we can arrange a seamless pickup at our farm.
  • How often do you Process Fresh Chickens?
    We have multiple processing dates throughout the year, assuring that we always have fresh chickens available to you. Subscribing to our mailer list is the best way for you to be kept up to date on our processing dates.
  • Why do people buy farm gate?
    It gives you an opportunity to meet the people who grow and produce your food, allowing you to see and understand where your food comes from.
  • What is cage free chicken?
    Our birds can “freely roam a building, room, or enclosed area with unlimited access to food and fresh water during their production cycle". We strive to allow our birds to grow natuarlly while protecting them from the enviroments and predators
  • What do you feed your chickens?
    We grow and harvest all our own grains on farm, which is used to feed all our livestock, including our chickens. We never use steriods or add any hormones; our birds grow just as nature intended
